For Love and Justise

I’ve been on a streak with my corny blog titles, so, I couldn’t stop now.  For this session, the mom to be is Justise.  (Such a cool name).  Justise and David are expecting a baby girl in early August.  Their maternity session was a gift from David’s mom.  What a wonderful gift to give to a mother to be.  Pregnancy is such a joyous time in woman’s life.  I think it is so awesome that this has become a special occasion to capture.

I had such a blast photographing Justise and David.  I may have worn them out a bit.  We kept finding such cool locations to photograph in.  They admitted to me that they rarely kiss in public and here I had them kissing in almost every pose together.  Thanks for being such troopers you two.

Congratulations Justise and David.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Road trip, baby!

For this session, I got to road trip with my wonderful friend Gwen.  We drove to the hoppin’ metropolis of Lincoln, NE to photograph Cole, the new baby of Rhonda and Colby, Gwen’s sister and brother-in-law.  Cole was so good for us and didn’t mind too much that we were interrupting his sleep. :D

Congratulations Rhonda and Colby, Cole is beautiful.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Happy Family

I had a great time photographing this family.  They were so funny.  They kept making each other laugh.  Capturing smiles from them was no difficult task.

Thank you Jeff and Diane for allowing me to capture your family.  I sure enjoyed it.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

“Senior”ity

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing my first senior girl last week.  The session was even a little more important because this was my neighbor.  I’ve known Bailey for the past 6 years.  I can’t believe she’s graduating from High School.  I’m so excited for her.  She is headed to the BIG state of Texas for college.  I wish her all the best, and hope she comes home to visit, lots :D

Bailey was such a trooper.  I drug her all over Bucyrus for her session.  I even made her scale a fence with her dress on.  But it was so worth it.  We got some wonderful shots.  Thank you Bailey.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.  Best Wishes.

Welcome to my world

I’m actually enjoying a little down time right now.  With starting my business last year, I got behind on my own personal projects.  One of them being cleaning out my 2008 family pictures.  So, by being stuck in the house, I’ve been able to start catching up on my to do list.

Blogging more frequently is on my to do.  I have some new things in the works for the upcoming year, so, please keep checking back.

In the meantime, here are a few photos from the New Year of my own family.  As I clean up my personal picture files, be warned I’ll probably be sharing a lot of them.

Thanks for stopping by.

This old barn

There is a barn not too far from my house.  If a person can love a building, I love this barn.  Just like old houses, old barns have a story that goes untold.  I wish I knew it’s story.

I was thrilled when I was asked to photograph this barn as part of a project.  I could of stayed all day and photographed it.  All of its uniqueness and details.  But it was suppertime and I had to get back.

I’m including a photo of the barn as it was being built.  I feel so honored to have a copy of this.  Thanks Rosie.
